Traditional barbershops ("peluquerías") in Mexico often do not expect a tip at all — locals round up. Modern salons in CDMX, Monterrey, Guadalajara and tourist hubs now expect 10–20%. If multiple people worked on you (shampooer, colorist, stylist), break the tip out by hand so each person gets cash.
